A week ago, San Mateo (Calif.) Serra defensive lineman Will Powers said he though he would have his college decision out of the way by the weekend. Well here we are and Powers said he's not quite ready to make his choice.
Powers, 6-4, 225 pounds is one of the nation's top defensive ends and narrowed his choices to Cal and Stanford weeks ago.

"I'm getting closer, but still not there," Powers said. "It's tougher than I thought it would be, it really is. At different times in the last week, I saw myself at Cal and at Stanford. I can't make a bad decision but I just want to wait until I have a total peace about it and that hasn't happened yet.
"Coach Tedford and a couple of other coaches from Cal is coming in tonight for a home visit. This will be the last visit for anyone. After the visit, I should have a better idea of where things are at and should be able to make my decision sometime next week. I won't do anything tonight, I want to make sure I don't make an emotional decision so I'll take the next few days to think things over a little more and then I should be ready to get this done."
