Power Forward to decide in November

Four star power forward Ekene Ibekwe (6-9, 195) had official home visits with USC (Sept. 9) and Maryland (Sept. 10). He will take his official trip to Maryland this weekend (Sept. 13-15) and will then have a home visit with Kansas on Sept. 24. His official visit to Kansas will be Midnight Madness weekend (Oct. 11-13).
Ibekwe is close to confirming a home visit with Arizona on Sept. 25th. He has already tripped to Arizona. It's down to these four schools: USC, Kansas, Maryland, and Arizona. He will definitely sign early, in November. He's already qualified (3.1 gpa/900 SAT).
This young has improved so much over the past year and he really caught fire and the eye of powerhouse schools from coast-to-coast. He entered the year as a three-star and strong performances at the All-Star game at ABCD, saw his rating rise to four-star. He also dominated most of the spring and summer, while playing well at the USA Junior National Team trials, Peach Jam, and more.
The word is USC and Maryland have taken the lead but you can never count Kansas or Arizona. One of these fine schools will have good news in November.
Ibekwe is one of the finest players from southern California this year…
