Powell plans to take visits
Chesapeake (Va.) Great Bridge wide receiver Carvin Powell is looking at taking visits. The 6-foot-2, 199-pounder plans to take one this weekend. Where will he be headed?
"I'm taking visits to check out campuses," he said. "This week, on the 16th I'm going to James Madison to see their campus. That's the only visit I have planned so far."

Powell appears to be favoring two schools.
"For me, it's between East Carolina and James Madison," he stated. "Both schools say I have a chance to play defense early in their schemes.
"I am looking at visiting ECU after the JMU official."
Powell claims offers from numerous schools including James Madison, East Carolina, Old Dominion, Ball State, among others.
Powell posted 35 receptions for 585-yards and six touchdowns as a senior.
