Powell an Army All-American
The U.S. Army All-American Bowl Selection Tour kicked off in grand fashion on Tuesday with the selection ceremonies for Ronald Powell, Lache Seastrunk and Shakim Phillips.

Rivals.com was on hand at all three events and presents a look at Powell's ceremony that was full of plenty of pomp and circumstance.
It was an event that only the Army could put on.
Powell's event featured high-ranking generals, paratroopers landing on the Rancho Verde football field and plenty of praise for Powell, for the nation's most highly coveted defensive prospect.
Powell will be one of the showcase stars in the in the 10th anniversary of the U.S. Army All-American Bowl on Jan. 9 at the Alamodome in San Antonio.
