Pouvave all set for Pac-12 school

There had been some indecision on where Marc Pouvave was going to college so after the Chula Vista (Calif.) Southwestern C.C. offensive guard took his visit to Utah this past weekend he wanted to clear it up.
"I'm going to Utah," Pouvave said.

"I'm putting it straight out there that I'm going to Utah."
San Diego State and some other programs started to get more involved in the recruitment of Pouvave, a 6-foot-5, 315-pound three-star prospect and he started to get more interested in other teams because his Utah trip kept getting pushed back.
Because Pouvave couldn't get his trip to Utah scheduled he started to wonder whether it was the right place for him. After his weekend visit with the Utes, no longer are there any questions.
"They had been postponing my trip," Pouvave said. "Originally, it was supposed to be the weekend of Dec. 9 and then I couldn't go because I had finals. Then it was supposed to be the first recruiting trip of January and that didn't happen and then it came to this weekend finally.
"When all that started happening I was wondering if I should go there, is that where I really wanted to be? I wanted to find a place where I could fit in. I was curious about other places."
Pouvave took a trip to San Diego State earlier this month and then finally got his trip booked for Utah this past weekend. After spending some time at Utah, the Southwestern C.C. offensive guard said he knew it was the best fit.
"The only other place I took a trip was San Diego State and taking the trip this weekend I felt Utah was the place for me," Pouvave said.
"The team really stood out and bonding with the coaches, it's really a family atmosphere there. I really felt I was part of their family already."
