Potts to reschedule visit

Monrovia (Calif.) quarterback David Potts had a visit scheduled this past weekend with UNLV. The Rebels had offered early in the process and we thought there was a chance a commitment could happen.
Potts, 6-1, 180 pounds is one of the state's top signal callers and caught our eye last Spring at the SoCal NIKE Camp. He was way under-recruited earlier in the year but did pick up his first offer from UNLV midway through the season.

"I was supposed to visit UNLV this past weekend but they canceled the visit," Potts said. "They said they wanted to move it back so now I need to re-schedule it for another weekend.
"I know it's getting late in the process but I'm not really nervous about the process right now. I know things will open up and there are a few other schools showing interest.
"Idaho State wants to set up a visit with me and Utah State called my coach recently and said they want to get in touch with me as well. UMass is another school I've heard from and their coaches are supposed to talk to me this weekend.
"I don't plan on signing on Signing Day. I'm just going to bide my time and wait for the best opportunity to present itself. Hopefully some of these schools will offer me and then I'll have more options to choose from, that's what I'm banking on right now."
