Potentially one more trip for Bryant

Pickerington (Ohio) North tight end Darien Bryant is only days away from finishing his high school career and preparing to enroll in college. The 6-4, 215-pound prospect has taken three official visits already, but is considering one more before making his final decision.
"Coach Dunlap from West Virginia came for an in-home today. My uncle's a dentist in Morgantown and I have a consultation to get my Wisdom Teeth out this Friday, so I might go on an official [to West Virginia]. I have some extra time to take one last look at them.

Bryant has previously taken official visits to Nebraska (Oct. 29), North Carolina (Nov. 19) and Hawaii (Dec. 3). He returned from an extended stay in Hawaii earlier this week and talked about that experience.
"I got to go out and watch them play UNLV," Bryant said. "It was nice to watch a game, meet more people out there and spend some more time with the coaches and players. Everybody is friendly out there, much like the South."
Bryant made an unofficial visit to Hawaii this summer when he was on Oahu for vacation, so he knew the travel time before he made this most recent trip to the Aloha State.
"Distance really isn't an issue with me," Bryant said. "Looking at the officials I have taken, driving-wise the closest is North Carolina and that is an eight-hour drive."
Bryant's mother is working closely with the three-star tight end in his recruitment, and has shared her thoughts on the distance from home if he were to choose Hawaii.
"She just wants me to be happy, but her only problem with me going out that far is the time zone and the distance," Bryant said. "Obviously she couldn't make it to many of the games and it would be hard for her to even watch the games with the time zone difference."
Next up for Bryant is an in-home visit with Nebraska coaches on Wednesday evening. From there he will start to move in the direction of a commitment. The three schools he has already taken official visits to sit at the top of his list.
"It remains a top three," Bryant said. "I've been talking with my mom about it and a decision will probably be within the next week or two. It's kind of exciting because that's where I will be living the next few years and it's a big decision."
