Poteat will visit Notre Dame

Jameel Poteat isn't totally sure what all of his summer plans are but he does know he will be visiting one of the schools that has been recruiting him.
The 5-foot-11, 195-pound running back from Harrisburg (Pa.) Bishop McDevitt told Rivals.com on Monday that he will be taking a trip to Indiana to visit one of college football's most storied programs.

"I'm not really sure what I'm doing right now because I'm waiting for my dad to get back," Poteat said. "I know I'm going to Notre Dame, though. That might be the first thing I do. After that I'll see what happens.
"I was talking to my coach about what's been going on and he said there aren't too many more new schools that can come along since most of them came in early."
Many prospects are hoping to narrow their lists in the coming weeks and Poteat is no exception. He's hoping to make some progress on that in the next month.
"I think I'll do it real soon, sometime in June," Poteat said. "I'd like to get it to seven or eight (schools). I'm wide open now though."
Poteat also said he would like to take trips down south and out west this summer as well.
