Poteat to visit Rutgers

It's pretty much a given that plenty of schools will be hosting Jameel Poteat for visits, either unofficial or official, in the coming months.
Rutgers may be the next school to have that opportunity.

The elite 5-foot-11, 195-pound running back plans on visiting the Big East school in the near future, and maybe not just once.
"I'm going to Rutgers but I don't know what else I'll be doing right now," Poteat said. "I'll probably be out there like April 6 for a practice. I'll probably come out to the spring game, too, but I don't know yet."
Poteat said he hopes to have the opportunity to visit Southern Cal at some point. If he has to wait until the time for official visits to do that then he will, but he would like to make it out to the west coast before then.
"Coach T-Mac (Todd McNair), their running backs coach, that's my guy," Poteat said. "We're tight."
Despite the obvious interest in USC, Poteat continues to claim that he has no favorites.
"I'm gonna narrow it down in July or around then," he said. "I want to try to narrow it down to five so I can take those five official visits and just pick from there."
Florida has also made Poteat a high priority and have made it a point to stay in contact with him. Wisconsin became the latest school to offer Poteat on Saturday, but aside from that he believes most everyone that is going to offer already has.
"Really everybody else in the nation has already offered me besides Penn State and Notre Dame," he said.
