Poteat lands a big offer

Unless you have been following very closely you may have assumed that Jameel Poteat has had offers from just about everyone for a while now.
However, one of the schools he has shown interest in has been holding out until recently.

The 5-foot-11, 195-pound running back from Harrisburg (Pa.) Bishop McDevitt found out on Wednesday that he was receiving an offer from Notre Dame.
"Yeah, they did that yesterday," Poteat said of the Irish and their offer. "They actually came to see us workout on the field for some of our 7-on-7's as a team. I guess they just wanted to see me in person. I guess I did real good and they were very impressed, so they offered."
Poteat has spoken to Notre Dame quarterbacks coach Charley Molnar before, and he said he's impressed with what the school and coaching staff has to offer.
"I'm very interested," he said. "I'll probably go there this summer."
The talented Pennsylvania back has talked about visiting several schools this summer but he hasn't formalized any plans or set any dates as of yet. On Thursday he reiterated that he plans on visiting "a lot of schools".
