Poteat gearing up for Cincinnati

Jameel Poteat, one of the top running backs in the Class of 2011 and one of the top overall prospects in Pennsylvania, will be taking a trip to a Big East school in the near future.
The 5-foot-11, 195-pound back told Rivals.com early this week that he plans on visiting Cincinnati very soon. This comes just after a trip to another Big East school.

"I went to Rutgers, I think it was last week," Poteat recalled. "We had a good time. We were playing Madden and laughing. It was nice. I talked to the coaches -- coach (Greg) Schiano, the offensive coordinator and the running backs coach. It was a good visit. I feel real comfortable with them.
"I'm going to Cincinnati this week, I think. I'm going to Notre Dame after that real soon. Those are my only plans so far. My dad is going to be talking to (college) coaches. He made the plans for this week and he'll probably call next week with more plans."
Earlier this year Poteat sounded as though he was all set to visit Florida over the summer. He now seems to be a little less certain about that.
"I don't know yet, honestly," he said. "I've got to talk to my dad about that."
