Quarterback Challenge: Cincinnati

Sean Clifford earned a spot in the Finals of the Rivals Quarterback

Challenge in Baltimore.

WEST CHESTER, Ohio -- The Rivals Quarterback Challenge

Presented by Under Armour made a stop through the Cincinnati-area

on Saturday and, despite wet and rainy weather, quarterbacks from Tennessee, Georgia, Nebraska,

Indiana, Michigan, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Kentucky and Ohio made their way

to Lakota West High School for the event.

Cincinnati (Ohio) St. Xavier 2017 quarterback Sean Clifford beat out

the rest of the competition and won an all-expenses paid trip to Baltimore for

the Rivals Quarterback Challenge Finals, an event that

takes place during the weekend of the Rivals Five-Star Challenge in June.

Clifford already holds scholarship offers from Akron, Pittsburgh and

Toledo, with significant interest coming from Cincinnati,

Out of the entire field of Sunday's competition, seven finalists emerged and

advanced to the final round. Clifford was the ultimate winner with 42 points,

followed by Aidan Smith (38 points), Griffin Beal (32), Price Cochran (31)

The Rivals Quarterback Challenge is a part of the

Rivals Camp Series Presented by Under Armour and

includes an accuracy competition and other evaluations that are tracked by

analysts using a unique points system, an explanation of which can be found
