Porchia holds two offers

Baltimore (Md.) Gilman School linebacker Devon Porchia is sitting on two scholarships. The 6-foot-1, 200-pound prospect broke down the offers and more inside.
"I've got offers from Pittsburgh and Rutgers, that's it right now," he said. "I think they are very good for me.

"I didn't even know I had those offers until I saw them online and asked my coach. I know a couple people that have played at Rutgers; it looks like a good big school. I haven't seen Pittsburgh yet, I'm looking into that."
Porchia is receiving interest from a number of other schools across the East Coast including West Virginia, Virginia Tech, NC State, Virginia and more.
Does he like anyone?
"I'm not really putting my interest in anybody, I'm not sure about it until I know my choices," he said. "I'm just looking for a nice big school where I can be comfortable and I have a good community."
Porchia was all-MIA as a junior and discussed his ability further.
"I did well, I felt like I had a good season, but I'm definitely going to be better next year," he said. "I want to work on my speed and getting my weight up.
"I think my quickness improved a lot this year along with my reading the run and pass. I definitely got better at tackling too."
A versatile athlete, Porchia just finished wrestling and runs track as well.
