Porche is one to watch

Houston (Texas) Strake Jesuit 2017 defensive end Troy Porche has already seen the recruiting process kick into high gear with a couple of offers already on the table and more and more interest coming in for the 6-foot-2, 235-pound defender.
"For the recruiting front I got a letter from Nebraska not too long ago," Porche said. "I think it was right as school ended I got a letter from Nebraska. And of course I still have offers from North Texas and Texas Tech. So I think next summer I'll get on all the camps I want to go to especially USC like I said before and of course Texas and a few other camps around the nation."

It is still incredibly early in the recruiting process for Porche, but he does have a few schools who have caught his attention at this point.
"Nebraska and Wisconsin are really looking good," Porche said. "They've produced some great linemen in the past five years so I really want to be a part of that."
This summer, Porche focused most of his time and energy towards school, so he has not had time for many camps. He was able to make his way to the Rivals250 Underclassmen Challenge in Jacksonville, and since then he has started to receive interest from UCLA.
Now Porche is ready for his sophomore season where Strake Jesuit has some high hopes and faces some top notche competition.
"Well of my school Strake Jesuit, we're on our way to a championship," Porche said. "But of course we have our division rivals, Katy, and they're perennial state championship winners. And we also have Seven Lakes who is looking pretty solid."
