Pope Nears Decision
"I'd say I'll announce maybe on Monday," five star linebacker Derrick Pope said late Thursday night. "Florida called today, but I think I'm through visiting."
"I think I'll announce Monday. Michigan State is my top choice right now. Alabama is second."
The 6-foot-0 and 223 pound Pope, from Garden City (Kan.) Community College, made official visits to Michigan State, Alabama, and Arkansas.
