Ponder looking at quick pick

Colleyville (Texas) Heritage quarterback Christian Ponder is having no problems keeping busy.
His offer sheet is holding 15 offers from the likes of North Carolina, Georgia Tech, Baylor, Colorado, Arizona, Houston, Oklahoma State, Ole Miss, and others. At the same time he's making his way to unofficial visits, 7-on-7 camps, and numerous other events all while working out everyday at school in the early morning hours.

It's all to get things wrapped up by the end of the summer because he's in a different situation than most.
"Well, I'm graduating early so I'll be enrolling in the spring semester at whatever school I choose," Ponder said. "Right now I'll probably have things narrowed down and picked before the season starts."
The 6-foot-2, 202-pound play-caller has plenty of choices though which makes narrowing it down a bit harder than many might think. Regardless, a top five has emerged.
"Arizona, Utah, Oklahoma State, Georgia Tech, and probably North Carolina are up there at this point," Ponder said. "They've all got great coaches and I've visited a couple of places like North Carolina and Georgia Tech so I like what I've seen."
One school will be getting a repeat visit after a successful first trip in May.
"My mom wants to come back with me to see Georgia Tech again," he said. "I liked it there and so she just wants to check it out with me this time."
Ponder explains that he will narrow his five down to three before narrowing that down to his college pick.
