Poly Star Down to Four

One of the top defensive back prospects on the west coast is Freddie Parish (6-1, 190, 4.49) from Long Beach (Calif.) Poly. This talented youngster has pretty much narrowed his college choice to four schools. All four schools have offered Parish. They are Washington, Oregon, Stanford and Notre Dame.
Parish will not commit to any school until he meets all four head coaches face-to-face. Parish will soon be visiting Notre Dame and head coach Tyrone Willingham.

Look for an early commitment out of Parrish. He probably commit prior to the first game of his senior season or before.
Parish will attend the Nike camp at Palo Alto later this month.
“I won’t back down from anybody,” Parish said.
The scouting report on Parish is he has the speed to play corner, but the hitting ability and the physical size for a safety on the D-I level. He’s very competitive and won’t duck anyone.
Parish is a versatile player who may also see some action as a tailback his senior season.
