Polk opens recruiting process again
Milwaukee (Wis.) Vincent wide receiver Nick Polk committed to Indiana before the firing of Gerry DiNardo. So what is Polk's current status?
"I committed before coach DiNardo got fired," Polk said. "I'm still committed.

"But I've opened the recruiting process back up. I have a few official visits set up.
"I visit Indiana Jan. 7, Northern Iowa Jan. 14, and Valparaiso Jan. 21.
"Those are the only three I have set up so far. Northern Iowa wants to offer me, but they're waiting to see what happens with Indiana.
"I talked to Indiana. The new head coach called a couple times. He wants to meet me when I make my official visit."
The 6-foot-0, 185 pound Polk caught 57 passes and scored 13 times during his senior season. He also intercepted nine passes, but prefers offense.
