Pokes to host Texas TE

Mesquite (Texas) Dallas Christian tight end Tyler Sutton previously had a visit scheduled to Army, but there has been a change of plans for the two-star rated prospect.
"Tyler has turned down the offer for a visit to Army," Gary Sutton, Tyler's dad, said. "He is going to visit Oklahoma State for a visit here shortly. I don't know if they are going to offer him or not. It might be as a walk on. He will visit there the weekend of January 30.

"Vanderbilt called and there is a possibility as a greyshirt there. The head coach at the school has been talking to Vanderbilt."
In addition to the interest from Army, the Naval Academy has been in touch with the Sutton family about Tyler coming to school and playing for them.
In addition to the Cowboys, Sutton will take three other visits.
"He has a lot of I-AA schools and Division II schools. The Division II schools he will visit are Abilene Christian, Angelo State and Tarleton State. All of them are in the Lone Star Conference. If he is going to go out of state, he wants it to be a big school."
