Pocic wowed by Wisconsin visit

Wisconsin had an opportunity Saturday night to not only make an impression on the college football world, but also on several of their top recruiting targets who were in attendance for the game against new Big Ten rival Nebraska.
One of those recruiting visitors was Lemont, Ill., 2013 offensive tackle Ethan Pocic, who holds seven offers including one from the Badgers. Pocic has visited Wisconsin twice before, but never for a home game.

"It was crazy and unbelievable," Pocic said. "I didn't really know what to expect. I thought it was going to be a close game. I guess it makes me like the school more."
Pocic had the opportunity to sit down with Wisconsin coaches both before the game and after the game. They discussed the win over Nebraska as well as how Pocic was faring in his own season.
"I just talked to Coach [Bob] Bostad and Coach [Chris] Ash," Pocic said. "We were just talking about all of it."
Besides Wisconsin, the 6-7, 285-pound Pocic also holds offers from Arizona, Illinois, Michigan State, Notre Dame, Purdue, West Virginia and Wisconsin. He had previously made game visits this fall to Michigan and Illinois, where his brother, Graham Pocic, plays. Any future visits will be determined later this fall.
"I kind of just take it week-by-week," Pocic said.
