Pocic planning out fall game visits

One of the Midwest's top prospects in the class of 2013 is Lemont, Ill., offensive tackle Ethan Pocic. The 6-6, 285-pound Pocic has garnered seven scholarships, and is looking to see the Saturday game day atmosphere at several of those schools this fall.
Pocic's brother, Graham Pocic, heads into the fall as the starting center for Illinois. Several trips to Champaign are definitely on the schedule, but the rising junior has plans to see games at other Midwest schools this fall as well.
"I am going to go to some Illinois games, a Michigan State game, a Wisconsin game, a Notre Dame game and a Purdue game," Pocic said. "Specifically, I think I am going to see Wisconsin-Nebraska and Notre Dame-USC. I still have to pick out the Michigan State one."

Notre Dame, Wisconsin, Illinois, Purdue and Michigan State have each offered Pocic an offer. His focus from a recruiting standpoint is on those schools which have offered.
"All the schools that have talked to me right now have offered me," Pocic said. "I took a visit to Ohio State [in May], but I haven't been in touch with them since."
Pocic took several visits over the summer to college campuses. His last visit was to Wisconsin earlier this month.
"That visit was Aug. 3rd or 4th," Pocic said. "I got to take some time with the coaches, look at the campus and stuff like that."
Pocic will evaluate schools on the basis of his fit with the coaches, players and comfort on the campus. In the short term, however, his focus will be on the start of his junior season at Lemont. Pocic will play left tackle for the Indians, and also could see some spot duty on defense in big games.
