Plenty of visits on tap for Devlin

Pittsburgh (Pa.) Mt. Lebanon junior tight end Andrew Devlin is going to be very busy this spring.
"Basketball just ended," Devlin said. "I'm going to visit some schools. I'm open to everyone. I'm looking at any big-time school I can. I'm looking at the Big Ten, ACC, SEC, Notre Dame, and Stanford."

Devlin has some visits picked out.
"I'm definitely going to visit Michigan, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Michigan State, and probably Northwestern and Wisconsin," he said. "I'm going down to Virginia, Virginia Tech, and Boston College too. And of course Pitt and Penn State. I'll try to see Stanford and Clemson too."
A number of schools have already extended Devlin a scholarship offer.
"So far Pitt, Rutgers, Akron, Connecticut, and Iowa all offered," Devlin said. "I have five written offers. And Boston College said they will probably offer when I visit there."
When asked who his leader is, Devlin said, "I have no favorites at all."
The 6-foot-6 and 255-pound Devlin played both tight end and defensive end during his junior season. He caught 12 passes and registered four sacks. Devlin is a fine all-around athlete who also averages 18 points and 12 rebounds per game in basketball.
