Plenty of visits for 2014 OL

While he waits for his first offer, 2014 offensive lineman Eric Gallo of Holland (Pa.) Council Rock South has already taken several visits and will continue his busy schedule in the coming weeks.
"Recruiting is good," said Gallo. "I have visited four schools and I have four more planned. So far I have been to Maryland, Temple, Penn State and Boston College."

Gallo, 6-foot-3 and 280 pounds, shared a few brief thoughts about these four visits.
"Maryland is really cool because my brother plays there, Temple was nice because it is only a half hour away, the Penn State fans were crazy and I really liked BC's campus and academic set up's," said Gallo.
As he mentioned, his brother, P.J. Gallo, is currently a player at Maryland.
"Because of P.J. I've gotten to meet the coaching staff and I really like their coaching staff," said Gallo, who is being recruited as an offensive guard.
Up next for Gallo is a return visit to Maryland this weekend, followed by visits to Rutgers, Pittsburgh, Georgia Tech and Virginia. He also mentioned that N.C. State is another school showing serious interest, but he has yet to schedule a visit there.
"I just want to get to know some of the coaching staffs on these visits," he said. "I want to experience a home football game and learn what the campus is like."
During the summer, Gallo also attended camps at Maryland, Penn State and Temple.
"They went very well," he said. "I feel like I got a lot better during those days. I enjoyed all three and I really like all three offensive line coaches."
During his junior season, Gallo is playing both offensive guard and defensive tackle.
"It has been good," he said. "Our team hasn't been playing real well, but we are starting to come together. I've noticed huge improvements in my personal game. I am much bigger, stronger and faster. I am also more of a student of the game."
