Plenty of major interest for 2019 four-star QB Hank Bachmeier

Hank Bachmeier has already landed a bunch of exceptional offers but things could really heat up soon for the 2019 four-star quarterback.

The Murrieta (Calif.) Murrieta Valley has received a lot of interest and attention this summer and a bunch of schools probably want to see him early in his junior season to determine whether he will be offered or not.

There are a bunch of top teams after him.

“I have heard from Penn State, Florida, Georgia, Alabama and Washington State and also I have talked to Tennessee,” Bachmeier said.

“A lot wanted me to visit during the summer but with my family situation at the time it was tough. Luckily, my uncle stepped in and we were able to visit some schools though. But now they want to see how I play this season.”

Bachmeier’s sister has dealt with some medical issues and it prevented the 2019 four-star quarterback from doing a complete round of camps and visits this summer.

There is still plenty of time left in his recruitment and usually the first six games of someone’s junior season could be an exceptionally fertile recruiting time.

Bachmeier thinks things will pick up even further. So far, the Murrieta Valley standout has landed offers from Boise State, Boston College, Cal, Colorado, Fresno State, Minnesota, UCLA, UNLV and Utah.

With so many top 2019 quarterbacks committing even before their junior seasons, Bachmeier has certainly noticed but said he does not plan to let it influence his thinking – too much.

“It has been crazy with all these guys committing lately,” Bachmeier said.

“It honestly makes you think about it a little bit more but I am still wide open and enjoying the process.”
