Plenty of interest for 2013 RB

After a successful sophomore season, and then a couple of impressive camp performances earlier this year, running back David Williams of Philadelphia (Pa.) West Catholic has positioned himself as one of the players to watch in the region for the Class of 2013.
"Recruiting is really good," said Williams. "I was surprised at some of the schools that are really interested in me. Pitt, Rutgers, UConn, Georgia Tech, Notre Dame and more, but those are the ones I talk to the most."

Thus far this year, Williams has taken an unofficial visit to Rutgers.
"I really enjoyed it," said Williams, who is 6-foot-0 and 171-pounds. "What stood out to me the most was how great their weight room was."
This summer, Williams hopes to attend camps at each of the schools mentioned above. At these camps he has a specific goal in mind.
"I want to prove to everyone that I can be a great running back in the future," said Williams.
During his sophomore season Williams finished with 925 yards and 17 touchdowns on 100 carries. Since the end of the season, he has been working on improving his game even further.
"I try to improve everything about my game," said Williams. "Training has been going great. I'm just looking forward to being the main back and leading my team to another state championship."
