Plenty of interest for 2013 CB

As the years go by, you can still be certain that Jersey City (N.J.) St. Peter's Prep will have BCS level prospects on their roster. Junior defensive back Tre Bell is definitely one to watch for next year and not surprisingly is receiving interest from some of the top programs in the country.
"Recruiting has been really good," said Bell, who is 5-foot-11 and 170-pounds. "I'm getting a lot of letters and invites to games."

Bell is receiving steady interest from programs like South Carolina, Wisconsin, Alabama, Notre Dame, Nebraska, Penn State, Miami, Michigan State, Boston College, Virginia, Rutgers and Georgia Tech, but claims that a few of these have really increased their efforts recently.
"The most interest would be from South Carolina, Wisconsin, Rutgers, Alabama and Boston College," said Bell, who has yet to take a visit this fall, but would like to when his schedule clears up. "I definitely want to go down to Rutgers, and Wisconsin as well. I'm not sure where else."
Bell, who attended a summer camp at Penn State and also the Rutgers Nike Camp, discussed what he hopes to find in a program.
"First academics, but after that I want to see where I'll be able to fit in, and I'm looking at how I feel with the coaching staff," said Bell.
Playing cornerback and wide receiver this fall, Bell is happy with how his game has progressed from last season.
"I think I am a lot faster this year and more aggressive, but I'm still able to play smarter than I did last year," said Bell.
