Plenty of coaches see Adams

Plenty of notable college programs have already stopped by Hayward (Calif.) Stellar Prep and so wide receiver Darrell Adams is encouraged more offers could be on the way.
The three-star prospect who looked good at the RCS Northern California said many coaches have discussed an offer with him but some could wait until they see him at summer camp or possibly early in his senior season.

"There have been a lot of college coaches that came to Stellar Prep," Adams said. "There are kind of like too many to name off but some of the schools are Boise State, Utah, Utah State, Nevada, Cal came, Oregon State, Oregon is coming up, Michigan is coming and a couple other schools."
The 6-foot-2, 219-pound recruit who is one of the more physically impressive recruits in this class said one Pac-12 school and another from the Big 10 could be the closest to offering.
So far, Arizona State is the lone offer for the Stellar Prep standout.
"Utah is talking about an offer sometime soon," Adams said. "Penn State is talking about one soon and Penn is talking about one soon. I'm expecting some really soon.
"It's been a fun experience. I'm just enjoying them and having conversations with them and getting to know the coaches a little bit. So far, every coach has told me they're very impressed by how I move around for my size. That's kind of encouraging for this upcoming season."
Adams, who came to Stellar Prep from Pleasanton (Calif.) Foothill, missed all of his junior season because of transfer rules. That could have delayed offers so he's waiting into this season to see who else gets involved before naming frontrunners.
"A lot of colleges just said they want to see me in pads," Adams said. "The summer camps, like Cal, Oregon State and Fresno State, they said most likely they will offer me there.
"Those are definitely camps I will attend. Some other ones I might go to are San Jose State and I want to go to other camps to get my name out a little bit more and show these college coaches what I can do."
