Plenty ahead for 2018 RB Lawrence

Sophomore Devon Lawrence may be the younger brother of five-star defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence but he is really making a name for himself as a running back for Wake Forest, N.C. The 5-foot-11, 195-pound Lawrence has taken a number of visits over the past few months and more are likely.

WHAT'S NEXT?: Lawrence is scheduled to visit Clemson for the Florida State game and Ohio State for the Michigan State game.

IN HIS WORDS: "I have six offers from Alabama, North Carolina, N.C. State, Clemson, Florida State and North Carolina A&T. They are big schools and they have a lot to show. The in-state schools are pretty cool. The coaches are really nice to me. They treat us right and they want us to come down all the time. I remember the intensity at Alabama. You can just feel it in the Stadium. Talking to the coaches and the Dean at Clemson, you can tell it's a really a family school. Family comes first and I like how the environment is," Lawrence told Rivals.com.

RIVALS' REACTION: There is still a lot left to play out in Lawrence's recruitment. It could have a lot to do with where his brother ends up but only time will tell. N.C. State and North Carolina have to like where they stand early on.
