Zaire Andre says his commitment to Washington State is as strong as ever, but that doesn't mean the Inglewood, Calif., isn't going to take his visits.
"I'm solid with Washington State right now," Andre said. "I'm cool with them. The reason I am taking visits a lot is because I want to see other stuff and enjoy the whole process. I am very solid with Washington State right now."
The 6-foot, 170-pound recruit who committed to the Cougars in late May already has two trips planned, one to Washington State, and is looking at others as well.
"I have my Washington State visit set up for September 21 against Idaho and then I'm also taking one to San Jose State with one of my teammates who just got offered there," Andre said. "I'm kind of going with him to just be with him and I'm going down there October 26.
"I have another one. I haven't made it official yet, but I'm thinking about going down to Houston. I'm checking with coach Tony Levine and I've been talking with the receivers coach, coach (Brandon) Middleton, and we're trying to figure out the best weekend to go down there."
Andre, who also has offers from Nebraska and Nevada, said he's going to wait on his other official visits until later in his senior season.
Numerous teams are reaching out to the Inglewood prospect but none have offered yet and he wants to see what happens in the coming months before making any other visit decisions.
"I'm going to leave the last two for later and see if anyone else comes in," Andre said. "I'm taking all five visits for sure.
"I've kind of been hearing from a couple teams but I haven't been taking it really seriously. They've been saying they want to see me in a game and see how I play during the season. There have been a lot of schools but I haven't been focused on that too much."
