Playoffs keeping Prince busy

Offensive guard Mike Prince knows about continuing winning streaks when he plays for powerhouse high school program Southlake (Texas) Carroll. The 6-foot-4, 278-pound guard is inching closer to the state championship game.
Though the team is known for state championships and constantly blowing out opponents, Prince says it's not always easy.

"It's tougher this year than last year," Prince said about his team. "We have to work hard to continue success. I mean when you've got 46-1 in the last few years, there is no such thing as having an off day."
Prince says the only thing he would like is to have more time for recruitment. His weekends have been busy with games and that has caused him to push back visits.
"I actually haven't had official visits, but I've had some schools come by the house like Missouri, Utah, and Colorado State," Prince said. "They just talked about coach stuff. They talked about their program and about the school."
Those three schools are also the ones that Prince plans on visiting when the time is right.
"I've been to a couple of schools for camps and I'd like to get out and see those as well," Prince said. "They're all good opportunities, but I don't have any favorites right now."
As for a decision, that will come at a time that Prince has yet to nail down.
"I don't know if it will be before a visit, after one, or after a couple," Prince said. "If there is a school about to fill out that I really want to go to, that might affect things. I don't know about that though."
