Playmaking WR is one to watch

If your team is looking for a playmaking wide receiver in 2002, they may want to check out Jeff Gray from North Torrance, Calif. Gray is a 5-foo-11 athlete who weighs 170 and runs the 40-yard dash in 4.6. He is also a stellar defensive back.
Gray was unstoppable as a junior as he amassed 72 receptions for 1,193 yards and 14 touchdowns. He also picked off six passes as a corner. Gray was an all-CIF, all-area and all-league selection as a junior.

This three-year starter runs disciplined routes and makes outstanding grabs in traffic. “Jeff is fearless,” North Torrance head coach Todd Croce said. “He runs solid routes and has the uncanny knack of where the ball will be and the guts to go get it.”
“Football is favorite thing in life and he works tirelessly on improving his game,” Croce said.
Gray is a fine athlete who also participates in track. In the weight room he benches 225 pounds, squats 335 pounds and has recorded 30-inch vertical jump.
Oregon, ASU, Arizona, Cal and San Diego are showing a lot of early interest.
