Player expects WVU coach tomorrow

Lafayette (La.) Comeaux all-purpose back Tyler Benoit continues to list West Virginia as his top choice.
In fact, Benoit says he expects to meet with Mountaineer coaches tomorrow at his high school.

"Coach McGee (a WVU assistant) is supposed to come by the coach's office at my school tomorrow," Benoit said. "I really like West Virginia and I think I could fit in with what they like to do."
But Benoit has yet to schedule any official visits, even one with West Virginia, so his recruitment is an intriguing story.
The 6-foot-1, 194-pound Benoit says he is being recruited as a wide receiver by the Mountaineers, even though he played running back as a high school senior.
He rushed for more than 900 yards and 12 touchdowns in 2003.
Florida State, LSU, Michigan State and Oklahoma State had also been involved, but Benoit says he has focused his interest on WVU at this juncture.
