Platts phone ringing off the hook

When a player has as much talent as Dishon Platt coaches can't afford to waste any time trying to recruit him. That's why college coaches were calling him as soon as September 1st came around.
"I got calls yesterday from Florida State, LSU, Indiana, and Georgia," Platt said.

Platt is a five-star receiver who has already received scholarship offers from most of the top programs across the country. So, it's easy to see why he's the nation's No. 2 receiver.
He was able to showcase his talent on Friday in his team's season opener with eight catches for 163 yards and two touchdowns against double and triple teams.
"They put one guy on me to start the game, but I almost broke for touchdowns on my first two catches, so I didn't see any more single coverage," Platt said.
Platt has not set up any official visits, but plans to go see a lot of college games this season, starting with Florida State-Georgia Tech in two weeks.
"Florida State is probably my favorite right now, but I will wait until I take all of my visits before I make a decision," Platt said.
