Platt to make call soon
A new team has pulled into the lead for the services of one of the nation's top players. So what team is DiShon Platt leaning toward now?
"I went to South Florida last weekend and loved it," Platt, who is 6-foot and 170 pounds, said. "It's my home-town school and I know everybody there. I could come in and be the man from day one."

He probably could be anywhere in the nation, actually.
But Platt is now leaning toward USF over Florida State (Nov. 30) and Georgia (Nov. 9). He said he still might visit Clemson but a decision might be made before then.
"You might want to call me back before Christmas," Platt said. "I should know what I'm doing by then. It's going to be USF or FSU."
