Pitt offer has Pace excited

Cleveland (Ohio) Glenville Academic Campus defensive end Alex Pace camped at Pitt over the weekend and he received some very good news from the Panthers shortly thereafter.
The 6-foot-2, 255-pound defensive end picked up an offer from Pitt, due in large part to his performance at the school's camp. The coaches had a chance to observe him in person and they were impressed with everything he did.

"During the whole camp and afterwards they (the coaches) were telling me I did a good job of getting off the ball. They told me they liked my explosiveness, my flexibility and my pass rushing," Pace explained.
Pace learned of the offer on Wednesday and he's still glowing.
"That's a real big one," Pace admitted. "I'm excited. Now that I've gotten down there and I've seen around the whole place I really like Pitt. I like their academics and their history."
Don't get the impression that Pace's recruitment is going to wind down anytime soon, though.
"By the start of the season I'll have my top ten," he noted.
Cincinnati, Illinois, Syracuse and West Virginia are some of the other schools that have offered Pace.
