Pitt early to offer LB

Linebacker Greg Webster out of Pittsburgh (Pa.) Woodland Hills hasn't received another offer in recruiting yet, but is certainly seeing interest from some major universities.
Webster still holds his lone offer from Pittsburgh, but recently he has talked on the phone with Virginia and Michigan.

"I just got off the phone with Virginia and they are very interested," he said. "They have a nice team down there.
"I just called Michigan in the last couple of days and they said their coaches are coming for a visit, but also I might talk more to them in the spring."
As for his only junior day visit to Pittsburgh?
"I liked the school, they have nice facilities and they're re-doing the weight room," he said. "Steffan Brinson (Pitt defensive back) talked about how they are fixing up the weight room. They just have a nice school."
Recently, the 6-foot-2, 225-pounder has been hearing from Virginia, Michigan, Pittsburgh, Iowa, Maryland, Purdue and West Virginia predominately.
This season Webster recorded 134 tackles, nine sacks, two interceptions and one fumble recovery as he was named first team All-Quad East as well as named to the Post-Gazette's Fabulous 22 East team.
This spring Webster plans to head to the Adidas camp, NIKE Camp at Penn State and the Blue Chip Combine at Rutgers.
