Pitt, Akron lead for OL

The evaluation period just finished up for Pittsburgh (Pa.) Gateway guard Chris Hanna. What did the 6-foot-4, 302-pounder think of the month?
"It went pretty good, a couple of schools came to visit and they called and we got to talk. I got calls from the coaches at Illinois, Akron and some other schools," he said. "The Rutgers coach really impressed me because he showed a lot of interest in me. I don't know a lot about them, but I guess it's a cool school."

Hanna currently holds five offers including ones from Duke, Rutgers, Illinois, Akron and a verbal from Pittsburgh.
Other schools showing interest in Hanna include Maryland, West Virginia and Virginia.
Currently, Hanna is favoring Akron and Pittsburgh headed into this summer.
"I still don't know too much about them, but they are both showing some interest."
This spring Hanna took in a handful of combines including the Penn State Nike Camp.
"I felt I did pretty well in them," he said. "I went up against some pretty quick and fast guys, but I was pretty confident with how I did in the one-on-one drills."
This summer Hanna is working three times a week in preparation for next year.
"I'm just working to get faster so that I'll have better legs and be able to block the lineman quicker."
Hanna was named second team all-conference as a junior.
