Pitt adds Virginia commitment

A year after going into the state of Virginia to land fullback Mike Hull, the Pitt Panthers have added another fullback from the Old Dominion State.
"Rashad committed to Pitt late last night," said Lynchburg (Va.) Christian Academy head coach Wayne Lance of star fullback/linebacker Rashad Jennings. "It came down to offers from Pitt and Virginia Tech and he'll have to tell you the specific reasons why, but he had a great time at both camps and just felt like Pitt was the place."

Jennings, a 6-foot-2, 255-pounder with 4.6-second speed in the 40-yard dash, has ties to Virginia Tech. His brother, Bryan, was a former tight end for the Hokies and the current defensive coordinator at LCA.
"Like I said, you'll have to get the specific reasons from Rashad, but I know he was very high on both places," said Lance. "It was a tough decision for him, one that he was supposed to make earlier but struggled with. I didn't get a call until after midnight last night about it."
