Pitt adds big WR

Anthony Morelli needs a big target to throw to and Andrew Johnson needs a wideout to take the safety out of the box and create room in the running game. They both got their wish with Pitt's latest commitment.
"I'm a Pitt commitment," said 6-foot-4, 179-pound wideout John Peyton from Dade City (Fla.) Pasco. "The wideouts they've produced speak for themselves -- Antonio Bryant and Larry Fitzgerald. I'm hoping to keep that tradition going."

Peyton is ranked as the No. 44 wideout in the country by Rivals.com and chose the Panthers over offers from Auburn, LSU, Georgia Tech and North Carolina. He had 22 catches for 768 yards and 15 touchdowns as a junior.
"I consider myself a deep threat," he said. "I can stretch the field and make the big play. That's why I like Pitt because they throw the ball deep quite a bit."
Peyton has heard of his new future teammates, Morelli and Johnson.
"It's hard not to hear about Morelli," he laughed. "And I hear great things about Johnson. The talent that Pitt is recruiting was a big part of my decision."
