"I just walked in the door," four star defensive tackle Quinn Pitcock said moments ago when asked about his visit to Ohio State. "I had a great time."
"I hung out with Lydell Ross, Tim Andrews, Maurice Hall, and the recruits, George Cooper, E.J. Underwood, Jeff Edwards and Devin Aromashodu."
"And I met Mike D'Andrea before he left on Friday."
"Ohio State's still waiting for me to say yes. They're still my favorite. Of course it's a bigger lead now that I've visited."
"Coach Tressel said it would be nice for the players and coaches if I know before Christmas. If it looked like it wasn't going to be Ohio State they could look at other players."
Pitcock did not know that Bob Davie had been fired at Notre Dame. When informed he said, "I'll probably still visit there next weekend."
"And I still have Penn State, Duke, and Florida in January. Ohio State is in the lead and Penn State is probably still second."
Pitcock, 6-foot-4 and 285 pounds, had 15 sacks for Piqua, Ohio.
