Pinkston makes his choice

Josh Pinkston took an official visit to Ole Miss over the weekend hoping to hear that the Rebels would accept him as part of their 2011 recruiting class.
While Ole Miss told the wide receiver they would allow him to join their program, Pinkston wasn't entirely satisfied.

"It was a good trip," he said. "It went well. They asked me to greyshirt. I decided to look at other (options)."
After giving some thought to all of his options the three-star prospect made his college decision on Sunday evening after returning home.
"I committed to Northwestern State," he said.
The 6-foot-2, 190-pound prospect from Forest, Mississippi is ranked the No. 93 wide receiver in the nation according to Rivals.com.
Earlier in the recruiting process Pinkston had entertained serious interest from Mississippi State and UAB among others, in addition to Ole Miss and Northwestern State.
Pinkston is also ranked the No. 20 overall prospect in Mississippi.
