Pingley commits

Front Royal (Va.) Warren County defensive end Luke Pingley made his pledge earlier today. The 6-foot-4, 240-pounder decided to stay in-state.
"I committed to Liberty," he said. "The coaches loved it. They just congratulated me and told me they were glad I'm part of their program."

Liberty was the only scholarship for Pingley at the time, what made him commit there?
"I loved the campus," he said. "I liked the way practice was run and I saw pretty much everything they had to offer. I like all the coaches. There wasn't one thing I didn't like."
Pingley believes he'll have a chance to see the field pretty early upon his arrival in Lynchburg.
"When they first offered me, I believe they said depending on how I do I'll either redshirt or play my first year."
Pingley earned all-region and all-district as a junior last season.
