Pig Sooie: Houston DE called the Hawgs
League City (Texas) Clear Creek defensive end Bruce Davis was leaning heavily toward Colorado before his official visit to Arkansas earlier this week. Now he's going to be calling the Hawgs.
"He called Arkansas last night and told them that he's committed," Clear Creek coach Aubrey Schulz said. "I talked with him this morning and he said it just felt right for him and that he didn't think it could be beat athletically and socially. He just felt at home up there."

Davis took a mid-week visit to Arkansas after visiting Colorado a few weeks back. Schulz said he has been in touch with Colorado and let them know of Davis' decision.
"He said he's done with this," Schulz said. "This is a great get for them."
Davis is 6-foot-4 and 225 pounds. He is ranked as a three-star player and the No. 17 strongside defensive end.
