Jenks, Okla., five-star defensive end Bryan Pickryl has made two official visits, but if you ask his coach, he wouldn't be surprised if he ended somewhere out of this world.
"Now, don't be surprised if Pick ends up committing to Jupiter," Jenks coach Allan Trimble said.
"He marches to the beat of his own drum. The UCLA coaches flew across the country this week to just bump into him here before practice. Pick said one word to that coach there - 'hello.' So you never know what's going through his head."
So what is going through Pick's head?
"I've taken two really nice visits," Pickryl said. "I liked Missouri a lot, and I think I could play early there. Texas was nice, too, and the people were really nice."
Pickryl said he has lined up two other trips - to Michigan on Dec. 7 and Oklahoma on Dec. 14. UCLA is expected to get a visit some time between now and late December.
"I guess you can say that I don't have a leader," Pickryl said. "I've got a big decision to make, and I think about some times just going ahead and ending it early."
That could be good news for Missouri and for Texas.
