Pickett close to another Pac-12 offer

Adarius Pickett is one of many top prospects at El Cerrito, Calif., in its 2014 class and the 5-foot-11, 176-pound recruit already has offers from Cal and Utah.
Another Pac-12 program might be close to offering as well.

Pickett said he's been talking a lot with Arizona State and he's hopeful the Sun Devils come through with an offer soon.
The 2014 standout has watched Arizona State's season so far, he's been impressed and after talks with the coaching staff he's looking forward to hearing more.
"I've been talking to Arizona State a lot," Pickett said. "I'm going to talk more with coach (Chris) Ball and coach (Chip) Long and we'll see what happens. Hopefully, I get an offer soon.
"I know it's a good school and a good football school. They're doing really well so far this season. They have a lot to like there."
Cal and Utah definitely made an impression on Pickett since those were the first two programs to offer and Arizona State might be close to joining that list as well.
Even another Pac-12 school is getting in the mix.
Oregon has also reached out recently and the El Cerrito prospect said he is excited to send his junior season highlight film to the Ducks' coaches to see what they think.
An offer from there would be huge.
"They're saying they'd like to see more film on me," Pickett said of Oregon's staff. "I just came out with my junior film so I'm going to send it to their coaches."
