Pickens enjoys visit No. 3

Chino (Calif.) Don Lugo two way standout A.J. Pickens took his third official visit this past weekend to Fresno State. The athlete has already visited Arizona and Arizona State and said one school stands above the rest right now.
Pickens, 5-11, 165 pounds is no stranger to Fresno State. His father Dwight played receiver for the Bulldogs and he has been to the campus several times in the past.

"I'm very familiar with the school but I still liked it a lot and saw some new things," Pickens said. "A lot of the facilities are new and so is the weight room. They have upgraded things quite a bit since my dad played there that's for sure.
"I got along really well with the players and coaches and I like the academic support a lot. The team looked great as well. They had a lot of people out with injuries but still worked over a pretty good Kansas State team so that was cool to see.
"I also like how the players stay in apartments rather than dorms. They're right near the campus and really nice looking. Overall, I had a great visit and I feel very comfortable with Fresno State."
Following his visit to ASU, Pickens said the Sun Devils were a pretty solid leader and he said that was still the case.
"Yeah, I'm still really feeling ASU the most," Pickens said. "That's my top school but I still have at least one more visit to go. I have Washington (Dec. 7) and then I may visit Oregon State the following weekend.
"I want to have my decision made before Christmas so I don't have to worry about it over the break so if I have time, I would like to fit in that Oregon State visit. I think they're coming in for a home visit next Wednesday. That's the only home visit I have set up right now but I'm sure I'll have a few more."
