Pickens enjoys time in Seattle

Chino (Calif.) Don Lugo wide out A.J. Pickens took his fourth official visit this past weekend to Washington. Not many players take all five of their visits but that's what Pickens will do before making his decision.
Pickens, 5-11, 165 pounds has already checked out Arizona, Arizona State, Fresno State and this weekend, was up in Seattle.

"All of the visits are somewhat similar but I really liked it at Washington," Pickens said. "I was very comfortable there the whole time and that's really important to me.
"I also got along really well with the players and coaches on the visit. There were like 15 or 16 players on the visit and I think at least 10 or 11 were already committed. The committed guys were working on me pretty good and talked a lot about why they committed to Washington.
"It was a lot of fun though and Washington has a lot to offer. They have great academics, I like the offense and Jake Locker is a very good quarterback. I also like Coach Willingham a lot. Before I left, we had a nice talk about how I would fit in with the offense there, it was a good meeting.
"I'm going to visit Oregon State this coming weekend and then I hope to make my decision before Christmas. Right now, I still have Arizona State on top but the other schools are right there as well. It's close but I just really like ASU a lot still so we'll see what happens."
