Pickens enjoying the process

Chino (Calif.) Don Lugo athlete A.J. Pickens is still enjoying the recruiting process and is no hurry to narrow down his list.
Pickens, 5-11, 165 pounds is a talented athlete who could play receiver or corner in college. Receiver is likely where he'll end up and where we think he has the most upside. Pickens worked out with the wide outs at the SoCal NIKE Camp back in April and looked very good that day.

The last time we bumped in to Pickens, it was at the LAX airport back in June. We were headed to Oregon for our final NIKE Camp and Pickens was going to camp with Oregon State. The Beavers made a big impact that weekend and Pickens hasn't forgotten.
"I'm still very high on Oregon State," Pickens said. "I just really enjoyed myself that weekend and ever since, the coaohes have maintained a lot of interest in me. No one is recruiting me as hard as they are so I definitely have a high interest there.
"Of course I still like Fresno State a lot as well. That's the school I grew up rooting for since that's where my dad played. I also like Arizona and had a good visit there over the summer.
"All of those schools have offered me along with Washington, ASU, San Diego State and Utah. My plan is to take all five of my visits before I make my decision but I haven't set up any of them yet.
"I'm hoping to and I would like to take some during the season if I can. I think it would be fun to go on a game weekend and hopefully in the next few weeks or so, I'll be able to set up something with some of the schools on my list."
