Phoebus LB is getting major interest

Hampton (Va.) Phoebus linebacker Chaz Robinson put together a big season in which he helped Phoebus to a second title in three years. The big season has resulted in big college interest for the 6-foot-0, 199-pounder.
"He did very well last year," Robinson's mom, Nina said. "He made first team all-district, second team all-region and Daily Press all-star team.

"He had quite a few sacks and about 85 tackles."
In regards to his recruiting, Robinson is hearing from some major college teams.
"West Virginia has come by, Clemson, Tennessee and Ohio State," she said. "Coach Beatty from West Virginia is hard after him. He has also been invited to the junior day at Duke."
Currently one school stands out from the pack for the Peninsula prospect.
"He really likes Clemson," his mom said. "He's always been a Clemson fan since he was little. He just loves it."
Robinson's mother went further into detail about her talented son.
"He's just a good all-around guy that sticks to the books and is very active in his church," she said. "He's a team leader and a motivator. He keeps everybody motivated and is going to be one of the captains on the team next year."
Robinson plans to raise his profile even more in the near future as he will participate in the FBU camp in Charlotte and the Nike Camp in Charlotte soon.
