Philly junior closer to more offers

Junior running back David Williams of Philadelphia (Pa.) West Catholic, who already holds eight offers, is piecing together an impressive season on the field. Williams has also drawn the attention of a few new schools, that may be close to adding to his offer total.
"I'm still at eight offers, but I have been talking to more schools," said Williams, who already holds offers from Notre Dame, Rutgers, Connecticut, Maryland, Virginia, Pittsburgh, Purdue and Temple.

So who are these new schools?
"Wisconsin, Michigan State and Boston College," said Williams. "They said that they want to see my junior highlights."
Williams' last visit was to Maryland and while he does not have any future visits confirmed, he knows he will hit the road again after his season is complete.
"I want to visit Notre Dame, Michigan State and Wisconsin," said Williams, who is 6-foot-0 and 188-pounds. "I want to see something that makes the school unique from the other ones."
When it comes time to making a final decision, Williams will be looking for a program that will utilize his talents.
"I'm looking for a school that depends on a running back a lot," said Williams.
On the field this fall, Williams has already totaled 1,533 yards and 15 touchdowns.
